The Engineer is a character in Risk of Rain 2 that the player can control.
In addition to an array of properly deployable toys, the Engineer is not overpowering since he has all sorts of defenses.
The Engineer’s ultimate ability is the portable turrets, which receive the same stuff as the Engineer. This makes him unique since item selection does not always entail what would be good for himself but what would also be good for turrets.
The engineering Perfection challenge will reward the player with a new character unlocked called Engineer.

How to Unlock the Engineer
To unlock the Engineer in Risk of Rain 2, Players must complete the "Engineering Perfection" challenge. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to achieve this:
Steps to Unlock the Engineer:Survive 30 Stages:
There is one general goal, which is to get through thirty stages in one go. These are the levels or stages that are, in some cases, the environment you go through in a play.
The game must not be completed in one break if you keep using the teleportation pads. The run goes on until the character or the player dies.
Tips for Surviving 30 Stages:
- Choose Survivors Wisely: Focus on choosing a character with high health and speed. Certain characters, such as Loader, Huntress, or even the MUL-T, are great picks since they have high mobility and can avoid taking damage.
- Stock up on Items: These include healing, mobility, and defense items to survive the game better. You should buy products such as Tougher Times, which is resistant. Medkitit is a healing item, and Bustling Fungus is another healing item.
- Teamwork Helps: If possible, play in multiplayer mode with friends to increase the chance of victory. Dividing damage and items among more people can help you survive the 30 stages themselves because when more people are involved, the damage will be directed towards a few people only, and the same is true for items.
- Use the Teleporter Carefully: Always be prepared as you will face a boss when you activate the teleporter at the various stages. As in most Shoot Them Up games, players must clear enemies and collect such bonuses on the screen before proceeding to the next level.

Conclusion

Although the fact that there are 30 stages to complete may turn into a problem, it is a very good chance to upgrade one's skills and discover all the different levels and gameplay features. This can be beaten through well-chosen character choices, good item choices, and possibly some coordination, and the Engineer can join the team.
The Engineer will become available once the player finishes 30 stages in one go; he can be used in the following runs with this character type.
