How to Get Pal Fluids in Palworld
Pal fluids are essential materials for producing various recipes like Cement. Cement, in turn, is used to produce various structures like Hot Springs and Witches Cauldron. Most of these structures are important to your furry friends since they allow them to relax and recover from injuries. It is important to get an inventory of pal fluids if you want to keep your pals happy and ensure your base is developing. Well, we've got you covered.
Here is a guide to collecting pal fluids in the Palworld. We also included some tips on how to use the fluid, so read to the end.
Getting Pal Fluids in Palworld
Pal fluids and pal blood are different terms in Palworld. While pal fluids are only associated with water-type pals, pal blood is present in every pal in the game. These fluids are also in demand because of their high viscosity. Before the v.0.2.0.6 update, players could only get pal fluids from killing water-type pals. Thankfully, you can now farm pal fluids from your base when you assign a Kelpsea to your farm. Catching this furry friend may be challenging, especially during your first trial.
The easy way to go about it is to have enough Pal Spheres, and even a Mega Sphere will be much appreciated. The creature is often located in its habitat. When you find them, deal as much damage as you can without killing them, then throw your spheres at them. Now, the tricky part is to keep throwing your spheres until you catch them because oftentimes, you may not succeed at first.
Players can find these creatures between the Ascetic Falls and Windswept Hills. Other locations where they spawn are on the beach located at the northwestern edge of Investigator’s Fork, northeast of Mount Obsidian. They appear between levels 10 and 20. This method of farming for pal fluid is the least preferred option since Kelpsea has only Level-one farming and watering Work Suitability. If you're not satisfied with farming your pal fluids, then you can go hunting for them.
Pals that Drops Pals Fluids
As mentioned earlier, the other way to get pal fluids is by hunting water-type pals. We recommend going for Pengullets since they will make a fine addition to your base whether you eliminate them on the spot or catch and butcher them later. These Pengullets often hang around near waterways, beaches, and rivers. You can often find these creatures at the base of the Plateau of Beginnings on the waterfall pathway.
Similar to the Kelpsea, you may face some challenges trying to capture or kill these creatures. They often run away when they see you coming, so the best way to capture them is with a sneak attack or aiming at them from the get-go. Once you hit them, these creatures will fight back using attacks like fast-moving ice missiles that are easy to dodge. Fight some of them to acquire a few pal fluids.
Alternatively, you can capture some since these furry friends can plant water and manage the Crusher. They can fight in combat and take care of a few jobs involving Handiwork. When they become less useful, butcher them and erect Hot Springs for your other Pals. Besides Pengullets, other water-type pals can also produce pal fluids. These pals and their locations include;
- Celaray: This creature stays around the Sea Breeze Archipelago, Castaway Beach, Azurobe Hill, and Forgotten Island
- Jormuntide: This creature lives in the South of Investigator's Fork
- Fuack: This furry friend stays around the Ravine Entrance, Desolate Church, and Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings
- Gobfin: This pal lives in Gobfin's Turf
- Suzaku Aqua: This pal lives in Unthawable Lake (found randomly in Sacred Mountain Cavern dungeons)
- Surfent: This creature lives in the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster and Gobfin's Turf
- Kelpsea: This furry friend lives in the Azurobe Hill and Ravine Entrance
- Pengullets: This creature lives in the Grassy Behemoth Hills, Small Settlement, and Fort Ruins
- Surfent Terra: This pal lives in the Deep Sand Dunes
- Teafant: This pal spawns around the Eastern Wild Island, Fort Ruins, and the Sea Breeze Archipelago Castaway Beach
How to Use Pal Fluids
Although the first thing you are most likely going to use Pal Fluids for is to make a Hot Spring, in the near future, you are going to need to have a constant supply of it to make it possible to undertake new building projects. You will also require Pal Fluids in order to clear the Tomato and Lettuce Plantations rather than their cooking recipes. In the case of Hot Springs, you may need more than one since these facilities are meant to rejuvenate the SAN of Pals while they are on your base.
An efficient SAN management ensures that your Pals are active in carrying out their respective duties – with low SANs, Pals will tend to slacken and ignore their duties. If the Pals feel the need to rest, they will try to go to a hot spring on their own, but if not, you can pick them up and throw them into the water. Moving on, players are also expected to use Pal Fluids for making cement, which is used to make worthy items such as the Production Assembly Line and the Improved Furnace. Consequently, Shells and Armor, including the Hyper Sphere and Ultra Sphere, can be produced with the material.
