Minecraft shared Snapshot 23W33A. Player safety got better. Report bad skins and names in Java Edition. A moderator group checks each report. Breaking rules leads to skin removal or name changing. Mobs attacking players changed too. Attack calculations got updated. A mob's attack area is now wider. The new system is easy to understand. Players can share thoughts.More updates are technical fixes, data pack changes, and bug corrections. Toggle debug screen charts with F3+1, F3+2, and F3+3. Decal fields got added to armor trim patterns. Bugs fixed in Snapshot 23W33A are wrong attack radius calculations, eating chorus fruit not resetting fall distance, and mob sounds not being controlled by the slider.
Install the Snapshot by opening the Minecraft Launcher. Enable snapshots in "Installations." Testing versions can harm worlds. Players must backup or use separate folders. Share feedback on the 1.20 features via the Feedback site or Minecraft Discord.
ARK: Survival Evolved
Community Crunch 375 is out for ARK: Survival Evolved. It adds a new critter: Yi Ling. It's an odd-tempered omnivore. It's bigger than most Yis but can still cling and glide. It can launch spiky feathers at foes. It turns vicious when retrieving them. Tamed, it's useful as a hunting mount or scout. Its diet is weird mushrooms, gas globs, and unknown beasts. These influence its feather arsenal.In other updates, Snail Games USA, Studio Wildcard, and Nitrado are teamed up. They're working on ARK: Survival Ascended. Their synergy will enhance ARK mods, Overwolf integration, and extend modding across platforms. The sturdy SteelShield guards against DDoS attacks. The first Official Network snapshot is on August 25th. The second takes place during the Official Network Shutdown in September.
