Minecraft Snapshot 24W07A makes a change that brings a twist in-game, changes quite a few bugs, and introduces a new skeleton—Bogged. Now, in Swamps and Mangrove Swamps, this mossy and mushroom-covered skeleton arises as a toxic arrow, providing a fresh challenge. Alongside this, several bug fixes and technical changes are implemented to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
Key Additions:
New Skeleton Variant - Bogged:
Shoots poisonous arrows.
Faster takedown with 16 health (down from 20).
Slower attack interval of 3.5 seconds (up from 2).
Has a chance to drop Arrows of Poison upon player kill.
Spawns naturally in Swamps and Mangrove Swamps.
Also found in some Trial Chambers from Trial Spawners.
Changes:
Hoppers and Beehives:
Hoppers can once again pick up items from beehives and beenests, but other full blocks still block them.
Technical Enhancements:
Data Pack Version Update:
Data Pack version incremented to 32.
Added #minecraft:does_not_block_hoppers for blocks that won't disable a Hopper when placed above.
Bug Fixes:
Several bugs were addressed, including:
Wind not charging when it travels through non-solid blocks.
The /place jigsaw command.
Pandas drop specific items when they are attacked using slime balls, but this is hardcoded.
Breeze has wrong behavior for reflected projectiles.
Typo in "Japanese" translation in options.japaneseGlyphVariants.tooltip.
AI problems could cause a tick freeze.
How to Get the Snapshot:
Available for Minecraft: Java Edition.
Install by opening the Minecraft Launcher, enabling snapshots in the "Installations" tab.
Caution: Testing versions may corrupt worlds, so backup or run them separately from main worlds.

The latest update to the game, version 3.24.1.0, brings several changes, additions, and fixes aimed at enhancing the gaming experience. Indeed, developers have very much focused on the refinement of game mechanics, visual issues, and raising overall interaction. This consolidation is regarding the most important matters from the update:
Added:
The map options now allow the hiding of markers, name labels, and avatars, so it becomes now more flexible for the player to control his game environment.
Introduce the InteractableObjectQuestEventHook component, which makes the dynamic quest events capacity broader in types.
Changed:
Raw Explosives in vanilla carepackages have been replaced with Demolition Charges, altering the game's item distribution dynamics.
Group member labels now fade out near the center of the screen, improving visibility and reducing screen clutter.
Increased max item drop height from 512m to 2048m, covering the full level height for a more immersive experience.
Replaced the tutorial button gap with a confirmation button, streamlining the player learning curve.
The monitoring system now checks all server workshop files for updates, not just the map.
Seeds planted by non-players can now grow by default, adding a touch of realism to the in-game environment.
Fixed:
Many adjustments and fixes on cosmetic items, including the Aurora Skier helmet/glasses, the Lime Tracksuit cap/fannypack, the Pharaoh hat/necklace, and the Strawberry Waitress hair.
Fixed several conflicts related to incorrect level buildable object IDs and warnings for destructible objects with more than 8 sections.
Fixed misplaced bookshelves in St. Petersburg, as well as minor visual issues all around PEI.
Improved consistency between singleplayer and dedicated server with the IOBS event hook.
Improved a lot of issues with copying transform in global space and buildable distance from hull considerations for train cars.
Several fixes for visual mismatches, including physics material problems and missing impact effects around certain structures.
Other Fixes:
Fixed issues related to sound effects such as the swing and punch swoosh sound not stopping during attacks against players. Corrected the situation wherein damage alerts are generated by a plugin against zombies and animals.
New Features: Fixed bulk disconnect message showing the average for all clients rather - than kicked clients. Fixed startup issues related to saving curated map auto-sub without write permissions.
All in all, these comprehensive updates and fixes are to polish and bring a seamless and joyful experience of gaming for players, right from the game's overall visual aesthetics up to its mechanics in the game.
