- Minecraft Live recap
- Rust balancing changes
- Valheim patch
Minecraft
Some new key features of Minecraft 1.21 were announced, even though it is being released midway through 2024 - they are as follows:
There is a new structure being developed, and it is called "The Trial Chamber".
It is going to be a procedurally generated underground structure, making mining even more exciting.
It will have new blocks, copper bulbs that will act as dimply illuminated lights, trial spawners that can spawn a wide variety of different mobs, and new mobs called "The Breeze" who are hostile and fires out gusts of wind that explode on impact.
There will also be loot chests scattered everywhere around the trial chambers' loot rooms, but what is inside them is still to be a mystery.
Rust
Alongside Rust's newest update, there are some changes you should be aware of!
Turret interferences have been changed, this means that only a certain amount of turrets can be active in one specific area. There is no hard limit on how many you can have in the area though, it's just that they can't all be active.
The SMG has been rebalanced, this means they will no longer work as well in long-range encounters than before. The MP5 however, has received a small buff to its damage and less bullet drop.
There are a ton of other improvements/changes you can see in-game with this update, I reckon you should check it out!
Valheim
Valheim has received a small bunch of patches, they are as follow:
Fixed an issue with double dungeon doors which could corrupt your savefile.
Controller fixes.
Zooming on the map is blocked while entering PIN name.
Fixed click sounds in certain menus.
