Hard to believe, but The Sims is officially 25 years old this February! That’s a quarter-century of chaotic pool parties, suspicious ladder removals, and endless Simlish conversations. To celebrate, EA is pulling out all the stops with new updates, events, and goodies for Simmers worldwide.
The festivities kick off on 4th February with a massive free The Sims 4 update, packing over 70 new items for Create a Sim and Build/Buy mode. Think trendy turtlenecks, bodysuits, bike shorts, accessories, and fresh hairstyles. Builders, meanwhile, can deck out their spaces with chic windows, stylish doors, wood-finished cabinets, and even a pirate ship playground for the kiddos.
On the same day, a limited-time Blast from the Past event launches, running for four weeks and offering challenges that unlock nostalgic 2000s items like a milk carton, telephone, birthday cake, and inflatable chairs. Over on mobile, The Sims FreePlay is also getting in on the action with its own throwback-themed event.
At 10 PM GMT on February 4 we wrap up with a 25-hour event as loyal fans and special guests explore the enduring impact of the game. But wait, there’s more! Players receive the Sims 4 update today while discovering fresh builds for classic town residents like the Goths and Landgraabs.
And for those looking to splurge, three paid Kits drop on 16th January, including items for secret sanctuaries, romantic caves, and cozy gaming spaces.
Starting October 18, 2022, the Sims 4 base game was made free to play. It can also be downloaded by new players for free.
Among all career options in sims 4, the military position provides the top salary rate.
All platforms support downloading The Sims 4 Base Game for free through EA app, Steam and Epic Games. Your computer needs to satisfy all system requirements for this installation to proceed.
