The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered retains the classic item duplication glitch of the original game. Players may quickly clone items using a stack of arrows and a bit of timing.
The technique consists of loading arrows, starting a bow attack, opening up your inventory in the middle, removing the arrows and then putting down the chosen item to duplicate. The game duplicates the item based on the number of arrows the player was carrying. Barrels and chests are great for organising things, and Imperial City Market District, where merchants are never too far away to sell off excess loot, is the ideal place.
It is especially helpful for players to accumulate potions, repair hammers or any other item, which is valuable in terms of weight. Still, it’s wise to be careful, regardless of the balance motives. Trying to copy too much at once could make inventories full, crash the game, or lag. Even though merchants will not pay any more than a predetermined rate for an individual item, there is no limit on how much they may spend overall, and thus players can sell slowly and make the most out of this glitch.
This glitch has existed since the first Oblivion and is still available in the remaster; however, it is not always effective. For many, that’s what contributes to the fun. Bugs or features? You decide.
Place arrows on your character, start to attack, remove the arrow while the attack is still in the air and let the item fall to the ground.
Many containers and merchants will be in the vicinity of the Market District of the Imperial City.
Too much duplication could lead to games crashing or overloading your inventory.
The glitch is the same as the original game.
