RoboCop: Rogue City is expanding its video game universe through Unfinished Business, which will release as a standalone expansion on July 17th, 2025. In this new chapter, players will find themselves in the middle of the OmniTower, a sprawling complex now under attack.
Picking up immediately after the events of the original game, "Unfinished Business" drops the player in the middle of a mission to take down elite mercenaries that have made Omnitor a fortified base. Players will have to run through floors filled with threats like flying drones, exploding bots, enemies with jet packs, and katanas. An expansion to RoboCop's weapons includes the Cryo Cannon, which works alongside his signature Auto-9. New brutal finishing moves allow players to execute dramatic finishing moves on enemies in the expansion.
The game marks its first series appearance by bringing flashback missions that let players experience Alex Murphy's life before his robot transformation. These sequences give us a better insight into the backstory of the character and his motives. Unfinished Business is an independent expansion pack that players can play without the main game. The return of Peter Weller in his original role brings fans a reliable continuation of the saga that began with RoboCop.
