Pac-Man, one of the games almost everyone knows about, and a game that has been released on almost every console, is starting to evolve, it seems. The simple, but absolutely timeless classic has just announced that the game will be available on select Volkswagen cars, that's right, cars!
As if the game needed to expand further, people will now be playing the game while waiting in the car. It brings forward the question of what other games will be available in vehicles in the future, or where else might we be able to play Pac-Man. While this news steals the limelight, the devs are gearing up for the release of Shadow Labrynth, a Pac-Man game. Pac-Man can be seen exploiting a labyrinth, battling different enemies, and still with concepts from the original game.
The version of the Pac-Man game will be the original, with some Volkswagen-related tweaks, of course, and might just be a cool enough incentive to attract gamers to buy the new Volkswagen cars with this feature, and enjoy having a little Pac-Man ghost in your vehicle with you.
Pac-Man was introduced in May 1980
Bandai Namco, originally just known as Namco, is responsible for the gem that is Pac-Man
So far, some newer versions of the Passat, Tiguan, and Tayron
The game franchise has been quiet since 2022, gearing up for Shadow Labrynth
