The March 2025 Overwatch 2 update delivers both balance changes, cosmetic items and special events. Support heroes get upgrades, too. Baptiste receives enhanced healing from each shot he fires, Illari handles her Solar Rifle better, and Lifeweaver obtains better healing functionality alongside improved Superbloom effects. The casting speed of Mercy's Flash Heal increased, and Juno's Re-boots extended both hover time and jump reset functions.
The Widowmaker Mythic weapon skin, Dame Chance, grants performance-based dynamic crystalline visual effects to its design. Players can customize its appearance as they personalize it with extraordinary design elements.
The upcoming hero, Freja, enters the gameplay arena with the trial started in March 21. Overwatch: Classic began on March 25, which introduced the 2018 GOATS meta through original rules along with a historical map selection.
