Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 reveals new expansion details and launch window

Warhorse Studios has finally announced that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s first major expansion, Brushes with Death DLC, will be released on 15th May. This DLC implements a new questline, which is built around a mysterious painter from a dark past, and features a surreal meeting with a talking skull. Players will help this mysterious artist, which will result in a new feature for shield painting to allow personalised heraldry.
In line with the DLC, the free Update 1.3 will also be released, which will provide a lot of game changes. Notably, mounted archery & horse racing minigames will be added, which will enhance the game’s combat and exploration dynamics. These assets were previously hinted at in the base game, but are now fully developed, presenting new challenges and activities for players.
The KCD 2 update 1.3 also introduces rebalancing of enemies in some regions, including Kuttenberg, making the game more difficult and challenging for veteran players. The price of Brushes with Death DLC is $29.99, a discounted price of $26.99 with a 10% pre-release discount. The Expansion Pass buyers will receive the DLC included in this bundle.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. With the announcement of DLC and an update, the fans can look forward to a fuller and deeper medieval adventure.
