It's now official that Forza Horizon 5 will be coming to PlayStation 5, and it will be released on April 25, 2025. The open-world racing game was one of the most loved titles in the genre when it was originally launched in 2021 on Xbox and PC with its stunning graphics, diverse car roster, and a big map.
The PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 will come with everything released to date, including over 900 cars, 40 additional themed updates, and the two major expansions, Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure. On top of that, a new free update called Horizon Realms will be introduced, which includes hand-picked highlights from Evolving Worlds and other exciting additions. On top of that, cross platform multiplayer is supported so that PS5 players will be able to race up against Xbox and PC players.
It would be a major shift for Xbox because Forza Horizon 5 has always been a flagship exclusive for Microsoft’s ecosystem. This is great news for PlayStation fans, but it also piques the interest of speculation that other Xbox exclusives will find their way to Sony’s console in the future. It is expected that the PS5 version will leverage the console’s hardware to the fullest, allowing for improved performance, faster loading times, and better visuals.
It will be released on April 25, 2025.
It will, of course, have all updates and expansions.
PS5 players can, in fact, race against Xbox and PC users.
This is the first Forza title to come to PS5, yes.
