For the 10th anniversary, Bloodborne fans plan to gather for the "Return to Yharnam" from March 24 to April 7, 2025. Both old and new players have the opportunity to participate by developing new game characters who can both team up in co-op mode and PvP while writing messages in-game as "You're in the know, right?" near lanterns to show each other their participation in the event.
Fans who continue requesting Bloodborne remaster and sequel from Sony have not received any answer from the company. The main reason for Bloodborne's absence could stem from director Hidetaka Miyazaki's strong affection for the original title, as told by Shuhei Yoshida during his PlayStation era.
The fan base continues its activity without official announcements from the developers. The "Return to Yharnam" assembly brings back the online features of the game with the same feel and atmosphere from its first launch.
The statements about a future remaster project for 2025 have not received any official confirmation from the publishers. Nonetheless, fans will show their support for the game through different community events and co-op gameplay activities until there is further concrete confirmation.
March 24 to April 7, 2025.
During the event, players should generate new accounts while playing with companions and then post comments next to lanterns.
Sony made no public statements about remastering Bloodborne or developing a follow-up project.
The primary goal of this event is to restore life to Bloodborne's online mode while commemorating its tenth-year anniversary.
