As per multiple sources, Electronic Arts is moving forward to address real issues numerous Battlefield fans have identified with the recent Battlefield entries. The upcoming Battlefield will receive major changes to both movement and gun mechanics since EA decided to work with players through Battlefield Labs. Through the Battlefield Labs program, EA invites its players for early testing and development of game mechanics, which they consider essential.
In the next BF installment, gunplay is getting optimized. The developers trimmed down the input delay, which reduced the overall time between pulling the trigger and registering your shot. By increasing the server tick rate to 60Hz and implementing these improvements, Battlefield will achieve better bullet hit accuracy and eliminate the annoying feelings of awkward shot registration. Gun recoil now has differentiated movement throughout all weapons while displaying unique visual effects and camera movements that correspond to each weapon pattern.
The Battlefield developers have given movement equivalent status to their other focus areas. They are also bringing back favorite movement mechanics such as crouch sprint, combat dive, and landing rolls to allow smoother combat movement.
This technical upgrade exceeds simple fixes or minor change standards. Battlefield Labs serves as the principal checkpoint that allows players to contribute their feedback through in-game experiences. Everything included in these improvements signals a possible comeback of the style that Battlefield veteran fans have long anticipated.
The initiative allows testers to assess early product versions so they can offer feedback to developers while they work on the project.
The gunfight component has become speedier while weapon animations have gained enhanced responsiveness, and their identities have increased distinctiveness.
The players can anticipate the return of the Crouch sprint together with the combat dive and landing roll.
Players need to register through EA’s website to join the official Discord platform.
