A game that has been ever-growing since the beginning. The Atomfall release date in March 2025 for many gamers was a date to note down, and has brought in a massive 2 million players within the first month! This made Atomfall Rebellion Development’s biggest hit within such a short space of time. Their other notable series, Sniper Elite, is popular among gamers, so fans eagerly watch as the devs make great changes to Atomfall.
It was hard to make an Atomfall review, firstly, as there were a few minor, frustrating bugs that, in the most recent April patch, have now been ironed out. Most noticeably for PC players, there has been an issue with random and stuttery movement with the mouse, or frustrating sound problems, which are now fixed. Within the first month of playing, many players were also experiencing the map being locked to only one section, and autosave features dramatically changing the orientation of players. Gamers who have played games close to the release date know how this process is common, where the general public essentially finds the issues by just playing, and by the looks of it, Rebellion Development is quick to respond to any issues that have arisen.
With a bucket load of quality of life improvements to Atomfall, and many fixes all over the map for a smoother experience, whether you are playing Atomfall PS5, PC, or Xbox, the experience is only getting better. Creating the ability to guide your storyline in a beautiful world is timeless.
Atomfall is based on the location of a real-life event, the Windscale fire, in 1957, located near the Lake District in the UK
