What Is The Mother Slime?
Mother Slime is spawned after you complete the Slime Cave Incursion. It uses three attack patterns, each different from one another.
It is a dangerous adversary because it becomes quicker in its movements as its health decreases. Therefore, understanding its behavior and devising a strategy to take it down can make all the difference.
Mother Slime is considered to be a special nemesis because it's a roadmap to mastering Incursion challenges. The players must think strategically, adapt to escalating difficulty, and manage resources efficiently.

Attack Patterns
As mentioned before, Mother Slime cycles through three attacks. They are designed to push you to your limits. It starts with an attempt to jump on top of the player. It isn't straightforward but can inflict heavy damage if it lands on you. You can counter the attack by being on the move and not stopping. However, the player should look at its trajectory and stay away from the landing zone by either dashing or rolling out from there.
The second attack involves a spiked landing. When it jumps into the air, it lands with force to spawn rows of spikes. The creatures repeats about three times before switching to the third phase. You should keep your distance and position yourself between the spike rows.
This way, the damage is minimal, and you can launch a counterattack as well.
The third attack pattern will see the Slime Mother summoning Slime Warriors to attack you. This could turn the tide in its favor as its minions can overwhelm you unless they're dealt with. Our advice? Get rid of them by using a weapon with area-of-effect (AoE) capabilities. It will kill the creature, allowing you to refocus on the boss.

Moreover, the players should be equipped with gear that has the right balance of defense and mobility. This way, high durability withstands mistakes. The accessories have to be just right, as items such as Speed-enhancing trinkets provide additional speed, allowing you to dodge its attacks. You should pick those items that boost stamina regeneration for constant movement.
Last but not least, you should stock up on consumables such as health or speed potions along with food items like Cappuccino for temporary buffs.
Set Up The Area To Your Advantage
