In Monster Hunter Wilds, the fun is always on. The Low Rank consists of a base game with lots of quests and monsters to challenge. This will also involve gathering materials for building up a player's gear. For the High Rank, the fun just never stops. Players, on getting to this level of gameplay, are now at the post-game story and will require new gear, fight new monsters, and gather new resources. One of the most important items a player needs is Colossal Bone.
Colossal bones in MH Wilds are only present in the High-Rank story. Prior to this level, the gameplay will only mention these items for full clarity.

Colossal bones in MH Wilds are important materials obtained from two monsters in the high-rank story: Congas and Blangos. Players are expected to gear up with weapons available to hunt for these monsters, challenge them, and obtain these bones. Colossal bones are obtained by carving these monsters. Once obtained, a player can then keep these bones in their inventory for later use. Better still, they can begin to craft high-rank gear right away.
You'll never find these bones as they are anywhere in MH Wilds. As said earlier, you need to have a face-off with one of two rare monsters: Congas and Blangos. After slaying and carving their parts, these bones can then be obtained. That said, a player's primary aim should be looking for locations where these monsters spawn or live:

There's a 50% chance of getting colossal bones from carving carcasses of high-rank congas. These are small ape-like creatures that spawn in Scarlet Forest. The filter icons make it easy to find these monsters. To use the filter icons to search for the congas in the forest, do the following:

As with the congas, there's also a 50% chance of getting colossal bones from carving the carcass of the Blangos, a set of small ape-like monsters spawning in the Iceshard Cliffs. Use the filter icons to find these monsters easily. To use the filter icons, do these:
Whether you're playing MH Wilds solo or with friends, getting colossal bones is a must when you get to the high-rank story. These bones will be used to build several high-rank gears, and these gears will be used to fight off high-rank monsters.
Now, you can choose to find these materials while you assign others to perform other tasks. If you must assign other players to carry out other simple quests, use Scalacube.
A regular server host won't do the job. Scalacube, on the other hand, delivers top-notch server hosting. It offers full functionality, dedicated server files, unlimited bandwidth, zero lags, customized in-game mechanics, etc. Players also enjoy 99.9% uptime and can contact the customer representative team for assistance anytime any day.
Colossal bones in MH Wilds are essential items for building high-rank gear. These bones are only obtained from two monsters in the gameplay. And as we all know, one may not know which monster will likely release these items. But if we follow due procedures to find colossal Bone spawn locations, obtaining these materials shouldn't be a problem.
Remember both monsters with these drop items are different to spot in rare scenarios. Once this happens, look for their larger counterparts. There's a high chance of finding these small monsters beside these larger peers. For a better understanding of how to fight off these monsters, check out our other MH Wilds guides.
Only two monsters drop these items. Their names are Congas and Blangos.
A player will only be able to get colossal bones when he reaches the high-rank version of the game.
Congas are small ape-like creatures living in Scarlet Forest. Other times, they are found around their counterparts Congalas.
Blangos often spawn in the Iceshard Cliffs. In a few cases, they can be found around the Blangonga, a similar counterpart.
