Additions in the Latest Version of Minecraft
Minecraft Java Edition 1.15 is the latest version in the market and, for sure, it doesn’t disappoint. It does not just come with its launcher but also has its code that is more modified than that of past editions.
The 1.15 is the first release of Buzzy Bees. It incorporates bees with bee-related items such as beehives, honeycombs, and honey bottles. Moreover, the update fixes combs while adding several features that were exclusively for the Bedrock Edition.Let’s look at the additions in detail.
Blocks
BeehivesThe blocks in the new edition can be constructed with 3 honeycombs and 6 planks and can accommodate bees. They fill up with honey. As a block entity, it can’t be pushed by pistons. If they are suddenly mined in creative mode, they drop as an item if they have bees inside.
Bee nestsThey are located naturally in plains, sunflower plains, and flower forests biomes. They function similarly as the beehives, only that they need silk touch to drop.
Honey dropCrafting the honey drop requires only 4 honey bottles which can’t be consumed. They are stickier than slime blocks and when they are pushed or pulled by a piston, they try to drift to the neighbouring blocks in the same direction. Nonetheless, they work similarly as the slime blocks. Moreover, honey blocks don’t stick to the slime blocks. An entity on the honey block that is pushed by a piston will move with the honey block.Occasionally, bees will eat from the honey block if they are near bee nests or beehives. On the other hand, mobs will avoid treading on them.
Honeycomb blockThey are entirely aesthetic. They can be crafted with 4 honeycombs.
Items
Honey bottlesThey are gained by using a bottle on bee nests/ hives with a honey level of 5. When consumed they eliminate the poison effect. They can be crafted into honey blocks and sugar and are easily stacked to 16.
HoneycombsUsed to craft honeycomb blocks and bee hives. Gotten using shears on bee nests/ hives.
Spawn eggsThey are bee spawn eggs.
Mobs
Bees
Live in groups, with a maximum of 3, near nests and hives. They are neutral, meaning that when under attack, all bees from the same hive confront the attacker, an infuse poison. When angry, their eyes turn red.
They are bred with any type of flower and will, therefore, follow any player with one. Often they tend to hover around flowers but they try to avoid water as much as possible. If a player is stung by a bee, the message "<player> was stung to death" will appear.
Command format
Can now use storage as a target or source, which is general purpose storage.
Subcommand /execute if predicate added

Syntax /schedule ... [append|replace] added.
Syntax /schedule clear <id> added to eliminate existing schedules.
