In a bohemian world set in another dimension with ancient wooden taverns and several different biomes, Henry, alongside other players, must find a faster means of adaptation and survive all through their stay in a world full of quests.
One important aspect of surviving is improving the player's hygiene. As we all know, Henry's body odor alone can easily draw the attention of enemies. Some NPCs are quick to stigmatize Henry for his poor hygiene, which is another important detail of the game.
Since personal hygiene is one of the core factors of survival, it is only normal to learn good etiquette in the old bohemian world. Part of the hygienic practices in Deliverance 2 will include having a basic wash, washing your clothes regularly, and cleaning your weapons. Players can partner with other NPCs on the Scalacube server to enjoy a lag-free multiplayer experience.
Ever come across the term 'Basic wash' on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2? This is a common title given to the course of body and weapon cleansing. After a series of quests and challenges, Henry's body odor will spike pretty badly, his weapons and armor get covered in blood, clothes dirty. At this period, he will have no other choice than to clean himself up. Recall that it is prohibited for Henry to enjoy the services of Bermaidens or Inskeep while covered in blood from head to toe. This is considered rude, and the only way to get an invite from these esteemed characters is to get cleaned up. This is what many players refer to as a basic wash.
It is now obvious that players must improve their hygiene to appear right in the eyes of enemies and other NPCs. A bad odor gives a belittling impression and some NPCs will hate to partner with you. Also, considering that players must partake in quests and other social events to progress in the gameplay, it is only normal to learn the washing process and stay on top of your game. Note that for weapons and armor, a basic wash is best applicable. This section will also talk about the cleaning process for each technique:
A basic wash is the most common washing technique in Deliverance 2. The Bohemian world has bath spots scattered around several corners of the biomes. These are usually in the form of a bathtub with dirty clothes hanging on the sides. You can easily find such spots in towns, houses, taverns, and stores. To perform a basic wash, Henry must navigate to the spot and interact with it. This interaction will then create cutscenes where he can have his body and weapons cleaned up.
While traveling, Henry can look around for the nearest bath spot to undergo a thorough cleansing. These spots are often scattered around the world. Once Henry spots one, he must approach the space with a soap for thorough body scrubbing.
Bath spots are widespread, especially while on the road. This cleaning technique helps players to get rid of dirt, mud, blood, and dust accumulated over a certain period.
In the deep state of the game, Henry must find a Launder Spot where he can wash his clothes. These spots are usually found near bodies of water such as rivers, lakes, and ponds. Once Henry spots any, he can then approach the spot and interact to create a cutscene.
Note that it is pointless to stop at the launder spot without soap. It is required that you have this item in your inventory. Players can purchase soap from the General Traders or Bath House Maids. Henry must remember to select dirty clothes from the general inventory for washing. As it should be, the more dirty clothes you have, the more soap will be used.
In rare scenarios, the best decision Henry can make is to get one of the bath services available. This will include a body wash, clothes washing, full healing, etc. While there are quite some services available, players can choose one that suits them and is within their budget. The more Groschen a player has, the better bath services he gets. A basic bath costs around 24 Groschen. Adding full healing and wound treatment will cost you an extra 12 coins. Henry can also gain access to 'special services,' which may cost even more. It is, however, important to include the Alpha Male Buff, which will improve a player's charisma by 2.
The whole point of having Henry cleaned up is to improve his health and boost his overall charisma. This will then have an impact on the way he performs and partakes in social quests in search of wins. Not cleaning weapons means exposing them to damage. Repairs may cost even more than one can afford. This is why cleaning and maintenance come first. To improve the body odor, perfumes can be bought from the Bath House Maids. This will further boost the charisma. However, one must always be careful with combining two perfumes, which may, in turn, have a negative impact.
Good hygiene is one of Henry's best weapons. It is always advisable to be keen on cleanliness and get rid of dirt accumulated over time. Dirt attracts negative impressions from enemies and other NPCs. Players may even be refused certain services if not properly taken care of. This is why it is your sole responsibility to perform a basic wash, clean your weapons, and use deodorants in Deliverance 2. For partnering with other players, use Scalacube. The hosting company has helped thousands of gamers enjoy a smooth multiplayer experience with minimal costs and zero lags. Having poor hygiene or bad smell can trigger other NPCs' reactions.
By participating in quests and other social events.
Approaching a launder or bath spot with a soap and interacting with the spot to scrub dirt off weapons.
Soap is a crucial item for every player.
