How to Unlock the Core Keeper Go-Kart
To activate Go-Karts in Core Keeper, you will have to venture out into the three areas outside the magical wall that contains the centre of the map. You can't just start off exploring these outer biomes because you first need to defeat three important bosses:
Glurch the Abominable Mass;Ghorm the Devourer;Hive Mother. These bosses are located at each of the outer biomes and will grant you items to power up the Core.
Once the Core is on, explore the three outer biomes. Each biome holds specific resources that you will find useful in crafting Go-Karts:

Azeos' Wilderness: Gather Scarlet Bars.
The Sunken Sea: Collect Coral Planks.
The Desert of Beginnings: Obtain Galaxite Bars.
After collecting these resources, you can craft a Galaxite Workbench. With the Galaxite Workbench in place, you can then create a Go-Kart Workbench.
How to Craft a Go-Kart in Core Keeper
Go-Karts can be crafted on the Go-Kart Workbench and require 70 Coral Planks, 35 Galaxite Bars, and 20 Scarlet Bars to craft. Note that it takes quite a load of resources to craft Go-Karts, so get ready to do some heavy mining.
Here are the crafting recipes for the available Go-Karts:
Go-Kart Type | Rarity | Materials |
---|
Primitive Go-Kart | Common | 100 Tin Bars, 100 Copper Bars, 30 Mechanical Parts |
Note | | Primitive Go-Karts can also be found abandoned on racetracks in The Desert of Beginnings, making it more practical to search for them rather than craft them. |
Renegade Go-Kart | Uncommon | 380 Galaxite Bars, 250 Iron Bars, 250 Copper Bars, 70 Mechanical Parts |
Speeder Go-Kart | Unspecified | 380 Galaxite Bars, 250 Scarlet Bars, 250 Copper Bars, 70 Mechanical Parts |
What is the Best Core Keeper Go-Kart?
The Speeder Go-Kart is the fastest go-kart available in Core Keeper; hence, it is best if speed is your top interest. However, this high speed has a drawback: it tends to drift when it makes turns at full speed, causing it to lose some control.
However, the Renegade Go-Kart fronts have better handling and faster acceleration but give away top speed. So, if you're racing in environments requiring fine controls and sharp turns, then this little Renegade Go-Kart might be better. Still, though, it's the Speeder Go-Kart on a straights and pure pace.

What Happens if You Die in a Go-Kart in Core Keeper?
Upon death, while driving a Go-Kart in Core Keeper, there will be a Tombstone at the point where your character died, as it would if you were on foot. Your Go-Kart will remain in the position where you died and will need to be picked up from that location.
Unlock Go-Karts—with three outer biomes explored and collecting of a single kind key resource after defeating their key bosses, Empower the Core.
You'll require them all for making the Go-Kart: Coral Plank, Galaxite, Scarlet, Tin, Copper, Iron, and Mechanical.
Speeder is the fastest Go-Kart, but hell is really uncontrollable by this speed. Renegade—a Go-Kart with better handling and acceleration, but slower.
If a player dies in the Go-Kart, then a Tombstone sits at the location the player died and the Go-Kart remains there for when the player comes to pick it back up.
