So, we are all familiar with the concept of a sky block challenge. This is considered to be the hard mode of Minecraft, putting you in a situation where you have limited resources, and must employ all of your skill in order to thrive. Now, to understand what we are looking at here, take that concept and put it in the middle of the ocean, where land is thousands of miles away. That’s basically what this modification pack was going for. It’s called WaterBlock. It manages to deliver a very interesting experience, simply because it tries to do something that really hasn’t been done before.
You might think that when it comes to the basic premise of a sky block challenge, you need to be suspended above the void for it to work. However, that’s not the case. What you will actually come to find is that you’ve got a lot of different options to explore, and plenty of gameplay choices at your disposal. There is just as much challenge doing it this way, and it’s up to you to employ all of your skills that you have accumulated in order to thrive and beat the game. Plus, you can use multiplayer hosting to do it with friends.
This particular modification pack is built for 1.12.2, so you will need to have enough resources available in order to use it properly. Ultimately, this will involve having access to a version of the game that can cope with the technological demands that have been placed on you, and also our own recommendation of 8 GB of RAM. This will give you enough power and space to be able to do whatever you need to do, and it means that if you do want to host a multiplayer experience, you have the necessary power to do so.
WaterBlock is an interesting concept. It is not often that someone tampers with the idea of a sky block challenge in such a radical way, but in this case, it really does work. Taking the fundamental basics of the challenge and then mixing them up yields a result that is quite interesting, but at the same time, one that you should probably check out if you’re interested in doing something a little bit different. There are plenty of different gameplay styles available here, and they have all been designed to be effective.
You are definitely going to want to experiment to make sure that you get the best results. If you take the time to see what’s available, pick and choose the best results, and figure out exactly what kind of resources will work for you, then you might well succeed. This will take all of your skill and difficulty, because it is a hard version of Minecraft, but it’s worth it. Give this one a go, and you will soon see that there is plenty to do here. After all, it is Minecraft but difficult.
