Life in the village combines the two modpacks Minecolonies and Millenaire, as well as providing additional content on top. This modpack aims to keep vanilla Minecraft gameplay at its core, and extend it in fun new ways.

NPC villages are spawned, fully populated with NPCs, quests, shops, etc. You can also create your own village and populate it in the same way. The modpack is all about create, colonize, process and explore:

• Create – build your colony, using decorative blocks and functional structures such as waterwheels and windmills.
• Colonize – grow your colony and gain reputation, by gathering resources and purchasing new buildings and land.
• Process – use mechanical power to process raw resources, simplifying the harvesting and manufacturing process.
• Explore – the many new mobs, by airship, many new dungeons and also plenty of new and interesting quests.

All of these features are combined into a stable modpack, that doesn’t do away with known and trust vanilla Minecraft gameplay.

Village life is great, isn’t it? It’s always quite relaxing and enjoyable - you really feel like you’re getting a positive experience when you set down in a village and to be honest that is part of the experience. A lot of people want to experience village life more, and they also want it on a bigger scale - your average village has maybe five houses in it and to be honest that’s just not enough.
