JavaRock is a Modrinth modpack whose name hints at a mix of Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. It is aimed at players who like the flexibility of Java but appreciate the feel and touches familiar from Bedrock. If your group includes people who grew up on both editions, it can be a neat middle ground for a shared survival world.
Running JavaRock on a dedicated server means no one has to keep their PC on to host, and the world is always ready.
You don't need to configure anything manually. In the ScalaCube control panel select JavaRock, press install and the server is set up automatically. Players install the same pack version from the Modrinth App and add your server address to their list.
Note: JavaRock is a Java Edition modpack. If you also want Bedrock clients to join, ScalaCube offers Geyser server types you can explore in the panel.
