Fabric is a lightweight, fast-updating mod loader, and it's usually the first to support new Minecraft test builds. A Fabric 26.3 Pre-Release 3 server combines the Fabric Loader with Mojang's third pre-release of the 26.3 game drop, so you can try the upcoming features with mods that have already been ported.
This setup suits mod developers testing their projects against the new version, and players who want performance mods or small quality-of-life tweaks while previewing the update. Expect a limited mod selection at this stage and keep backups handy.
Installing Fabric on a server normally means running the installer and matching loader, game and API versions. ScalaCube skips all of that: select Fabric 26.3 Pre-Release 3 in the control panel and it installs with one click. Then upload your mods to the mods folder via the file manager or FTP.
