Dark and Dangerous is a Minecraft 1.19.2 modpack by AsianHalfSquat that turns the world into a much harsher place. Darkness is a constant threat: nights are truly dark, caves are deadly, and you must secure light sources quickly to survive. The pack is far harder than vanilla, and you can adjust day and night lengths to tune the challenge. It's designed to look atmospheric with the Patrix resource pack and Apollo shaders on the client side.

Huddling around torches with your friends while something moves in the dark is exactly the point.

No Manual Setup

You don't need to install mods or Forge. In the ScalaCube control panel select Dark and Dangerous and click install. Players install the same version via CurseForge and connect.
