Bedrock in Java by dogers13 is a lightweight Fabric modpack for Minecraft 1.21.4 that makes Java Edition look and feel like Bedrock, while keeping Java features like server connections and Realms. It uses BedrockIfy, Polytone, Potion Cauldron and Bedrock-style water colors and title screen, adds Instant PvP for 1.8-style combat, and includes Sodium for performance, Bobby for extended render distance and ViaFabricPlus for joining servers on other versions.
If your friends switched from Bedrock to Java, this pack makes the move smoother. Pair it with a Fabric server so the whole group plays together with the familiar feel.
You don't have to install Fabric or match versions yourself. In the ScalaCube control panel, choose Bedrock in Java from the Modrinth list and click install. The server gets the correct Fabric loader and Minecraft 1.21.4 automatically.
