Have you ever played the game Harvest Moon? Or perhaps you played Stardew Valley? Even if you haven’t played either of those, you probably heard of them. They represent a different style of gameplay, a different genre for the industry which has been known to be quite popular. No one can deny the impact that these games have had on the industry as a whole and that makes them invaluable. So it makes perfect sense that someone would make a version of Minecraft based on these experiences.
This is a very straightforward yet highly engaging farming simulator. You grow crops, tend to your property, sell things, buy things, and survive the seasons. It can be highly rewarding to see everything come to fruition in the way that you wanted, which is part of the appeal. What you have to do is make sure that you do everything in your power to create a world which is profitable for you, and that you enjoyed the experience. The whole point of a farming simulator like this, as was the case with things like Harvest Moon, is that you appreciate the simple joys in life, and stop rushing around from one point to the next.
From a technical standpoint, this has been very well designed. It is optimised for the latest version of Minecraft, which is 1.12.2. You will need a high end system to play this, and sufficient amount of RAM, but it will ultimately be worth it for the sheer joy which can come from creating a profitable farming industry. You have to really appreciate the slower pace of the game, and enjoy watching the long efforts pay off.
This really is a farming simulator. Just slow down, and enjoy the scenic pace of life which is advertised here. You grow crops, sell them, grow more, expand your farm, make some money, and ultimately enjoy life. There is no massive goal, there isn’t much in the way of action, this is just a simple methodical exercise which can be quite rewarding. We encourage you to slow down and appreciate everything that’s on offer here, whether it’s the fantastic ambience of the simple yet effective control system which allows you considerable precision when growing crops. Progression comes in the form of making more money, and a handful of quests, but outside of that, it’s just time to kick back and enjoy things.
All in all, there is a lot to appreciate here. There are many different options that you have available to you and how you progress, and this is definitely a nice change of pace from the fast paced, hectic world that some of these other modification packs can create. If you slow down, and appreciate everything that is available to you, you will have a very rich and full experience. If you rush round, then you will ultimately miss out on some of the simple joys in life. This is definitely something you should have a go at, because things like Harvest Moon have been known to be very entertaining.
