Well worth the money and great server hosting with very little lag or even none. For sure would recommend

Played vanilla minecraft for a while, and needed something with more variety so my friends and I chose to play Hexxit, and stumbled upon ScalaCube to host the server. Great price and no conflicts with anything.

Server hasn't crashed once. Very good assistance with FTB packs.

At first, I thought that the fact that there was no precise location to pick would be a bad thing for ping. However, my ping is 30 on the West coast of the U.S., while my friend on the East coast had a ping of 10 or so, and my other friend had a ping of 30 from the UK. No lag whatsoever, excellent server, would recommend to anyone!
