Paldium Fragments. They’re everywhere in Palworld - and that’s a good thing, as these materials are undisputably among the most crucial resources you’ll need at almost every stage of the game. To this end, the earlier you secure a solid base to obtain an easy supply of Paldium Fragments, the better your game should be. And, to this end, we’ve explored the lands of Palworld to find the optimal base locations in the game, which should hopefully help you optimize your own base’s Paldium Fragments production.

There are several excellent destinations you could consider for Paldium Fragment farming in Palworld - and two, in particular, stand out as being among the best for resource availability overall. These include the following locations.
If you’re looking for a base that will allow you to quickly and easily farm Paldium Fragments, the Northern Plateau of Beginnings might be just the place to tart! Indeed, this is a fantastic early game base, and with a “normal” climate that’s neither too hot or too cold, which makes it friendlier for newer players - the perfect choice after setting up your brand new game on a premium private Palworld server! You’ll find a good number of Paldium Fragment deposits nearby, plus plenty of basic resources like stone and wood that help make it the perfect solution for any new game! Just keep in mind that enemies in this region are incredibly low level, so if you choose this base, you may want to replace it before long.

Just as with the northern region of the camp, the southern part of the Plateau of Beginnings is also excellent as a Paldium Fragments farming region. Plus, compared to the Northern base, this camp is quite a bit larger, meaning there’s more room to expand your base. It also has both Paldium Fragment nodes and ore deposits, which is a big benefit for balancing multiple resource needs. With that being said, the enemies are still low-level in this region, so you’ll face the same challenges in terms of “outgrowing” the base relatively quickly.
While there are two brilliant early game bases for farming Paldium Fragments, it’s worth noting that you can actually mass produce Paldium Fragments from any base once you’ve got access to two key technologies: the Crusher and the Refrigerated Crusher, which unlock at Levels 8 and 52, respectively.
So, you’ve found a base you’ve fallen in love with, and you’re wondering how to make this new base work as well as possible for your needs. Well, if this is something you’ve been wondering, don’t fret; the following simple tips could help you get the most out of whichever Paldium base you pick.
First of all, make sure you’re using Pals that are good at mining (i.e., with a high mining work suitability). The more mining Pals you have in your base, the faster your Paldium fragments will come in!
Moreover, once you unlock the Crusher and, later, the Refrigerated Crusher, make sure you upgrade these as soon as possible. Indeed, these can convert stone into Paldium Fragments, provided you have a Pal with Watering (for Crusher) or Cooling (for Refrigerated Crusher) work suitabilities. Adding these to your base can very quickly increase Fragment output and yields, provided you have plenty of stone!
And, don’t forget, you can always increase the rate of Paldium Fragment generation by tweaking your world’s settings so that gatherable resources respawn faster! For example, setting the Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval to 0.5 (half a day) means you won’t have to wait long for nodes to regenerate, making Paldium Fragment farming more sustainable.

Yes! The Crusher allows you to convert stone into Paldium Fragments once placed in your base, provided you have a Pal with the Watering ability.
The Refrigerated Crusher is an advanced tech that unlocks at Level 52, and these can be built in your base once unlocked. These are the upgraded versions of the basic Crushers.
If you're looking to build a base for Paldium Fragments in Palworld, both the North and South Plateaus of Beginnings make excellent starter spots. However, as soon as you unlock the Crusher or Refrigerated Crusher, new opportunities open up for your game, and this should allow you instead to choose a base that’s best-suited to your unique needs.
