It’s not a particularly big base, but if you’re looking for a solid ore-rich early game option, behind the Desolate Church could be just the location for you! With enemies of levels 2 to 10 and plenty of access to ore, wood, and mushrooms, it’s an abundant location that makes restocking and crafting your early-game equipment easier.

2. West of Fort Ruins (Coordinates: 156, -396)

A compact but efficient early-game location, the spot to the West of Fort Ruins might be just what you need if you’re just getting started. This base is marginally trickier, with enemies up to level 11, and includes plenty of ore and wood, although it’s somewhat more lacking on other resources than some of the other base locations you could consider. Still, a pretty great starting base overall.

3. Southwest of the Small Settlement (8, -528)

If you’re still in the early game but want a large base that comes packed with a huge amount of ore, you’ll be hard-pressed to find one better than the area to the Southwest of the Small Settlement. This region has ore and wood, and, since it’s so large, you won’t have to worry about finding enough building room! A must for sure!

4. By the Sealed Realm of the Guardian (180, -39)

The region by the Sealed Realm of the Guardian is undoubtedly one of the best locations for ore mining in Palworld - however, keep in mind that this area is also much trickier than the places we’ve mentioned so far. Nonetheless, with plenty of ore, coal, and wood to mine, it’s a great base area - at least if you can tolerate the slightly sloped terrain.

5. South of Cinnamoth Forest (-77, -310)

Wide open land that’s mostly flat makes Cinnamoth Forest a great location for anyone wanting a large, spacious base without the building constraints - all supported by having plenty of ore and access to wood. Better still, though it’s not in the base directly, you’ll also find an excellent amount of sulfur nearby as a bonus.

6. South of the Foot of the Volcano (-341, 566)

Heading into the toughest mid-late game base locations, to the South of the Foot of the Volcano, you’ll find a large base in a hot climate with a huge amount of ore and sulfur, and enemies up to level 35. This base is pretty dangerous, but it makes an excellent challenge if you can keep hold of it that’ll reward you with plenty of ore!
