The Elder Scrolls series, one that sits in the hearts of so many people around the world, whether it's Skyrim or Oblivion, the two favourites, staples of the gaming industry. While we were blessed with a remaster in 2021, the long-awaited remaster of the 2011 classic game, many avid fans have always been waiting for Oblivion to share the same fate. The community behind the game really enjoys Oblivion, and to see The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remastered would be a fantastic day for the gaming world.
There has been no official announcement for the game just yet, but through what seems to be endless possible leaks, and files getting dug out to all pointing in the direction of a The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remaster. It’s expected for Bethesda to randomly drop the remaster in the coming weeks, whether that will happen or not is completely speculation.
Throughout waiting for the remake, the community has seen screenshots from Oblivion in higher quality, files, and even possible mistakes from the developers, revealing a sale button on their website. Some of the Elder Scrolls fans are screaming for the developers to remake Morrowind instead, which came years before Oblivion, even. Either way, another Elder Scrolls remake would be a great addition to the gaming world in 2025!
The remake has just been released on the 22nd April 2025
