The Mechanics of The Scaling Boss Health
The difficulty of boss fights isn’t fixed in Necesse. It depends on the number of players in the game. The formula is pretty simple. The boss' health increases by 80% every time a player joins the action. For example, if you are battling Evil's Protector, who has a base health of 3000:
- Solo Fight (1 Player): 3000 HP (base value)
- 2 Players: 3000 + (3000 * 0.8) = 5400 HP
- 3 Players: 3000 + (3000 * 0.8) * 2 = 7800 HP
- 4 Players: 3000 + (3000 * 0.8) * 3 = 10200 HP
This feature makes sure that you're in for a real fight regardless of how many players come to your aid. The more players you have, the tougher the boss gets. So, you’ll need stronger weapons, armor, and strategies to survive.
Evil's Protector
This is one of the first villains you will encounter in the game. You are guaranteed to get Demonic Bar (12) 100% and Force of Wind 100% if you kill the arch-nemesis. You may also get Melee Foci, Magic Foci, Range Foci, or Summon Foci after victory. You will be rewarded with Demon Heart and Demon Cloak on the first kill.
Evil’s Protector is one of the first major bosses you’ll encounter in Necesse, as the drops cater to players who are looking to improve their combat abilities. The Force of Wind stands out because it’s useful for all builds, whereas Demon Cloak and Demon Heart boost your defenses early in the game.
Queen Spider
You are sure to be rewarded with Cave Spider Gland after beating this formidable enemy.
