Welcome to the Core Keeper Monster Farm Guide! This is a rather simplified guide focused on helping a player set up a monster farm in the shortest amount of time for efficient monster farming and loot. Learn how to build a productive monster farm with different strategies and floor tiles.
How to Farm Monsters in Core Keeper
There are two primary methods for farming monsters in Core Keeper
Hunt for Monsters in Their Biome Search up to various biomes to find and hunt the monsters within their natural habitats. Doing this is time-consuming but rewarding as you track down the monster by yourself on a search.
Place Monster-Spawning Floor Tiles Special floor tiles to spawn monsters allow for a much more controlled approach in doing so. This is great when making a stationary spawn of monsters without needing to always explore for them. Just place these kinds of tiles onto the ground, and eventually, monsters will spawn so long as you're not on the same screen.

Building a Core Keeper Monster Farm
Creating a monster farm is relatively straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started
Prepare the AreaThe first step to having an efficient farming process is to prepare the area where you are going to place your monster-spawning tiles. Close off the area by digging out the ground or building walls around it so that your monsters don't wander away. This farm will work without traps, but they do come in handy in automatically killing monsters for experience and items.
Tile PlacementPlace the floor tiles for the monsters that will be spawned in your prepared area. You can mix different kinds of floor tiles in one space or have separate rooms for each of your monsters, depending on what you want to do regarding your farm and how it's laid out.
Lighting ConsiderationsIt is unknown if lighting has an effect on spawn rates. You can install electric lights should you want to keep your farm lit, or shroud it in darkness and turn off those lights at will.
