The Feed the Beast series is one which has proven time and time again that it can be highly popular and engaging. Each new iteration of the series brings a fresh set of challenges and ideas, which is nice for longtime fans and people who want to explore a whole new world at their fingertips without any problems at all. This is a speed run challenge map, so you can expect to see a lot of difficult segments and tricky bits, but the reward is ultimately worth it if you can figure out how to move forward and what you need to do in order to overcome the obstacles in your path.
The objective of this game is to collect eggs. There’s a whole selection of hidden eggs dotted all around the map for you to find and collect, which is good because there’s a lot to explore! Take a tour through the different parts of the map to find what it is that you need and collect as many eggs as you can within a time limit. Watch out though, there's a lot of instances where the map will test your skill and precision while it takes you from one place to the next. There are 32 eggs to find and two versions of the map to explore, so it’s going to be tough to track down every single one.
So what do you need from a technical perspective to make this work? Well your system is going to need to be optimised for 1.12.2 of Minecraft, so the expectation is also that you’ll need a lot of different systems working all at once. Invest in a high performance CPU for best results and make sure that you have successfully put aside 6 - 10 GB of RAM to get the maximum experience, although we heavily recommend using closer to 10 GB if you can.
The speedrunning element of the map is what makes this so challenging. You’ve got so many different options to think about and so little time to do everything in it becomes almost impossible to figure out what to do for the best on your first attempt. Many people find that they can successfully learn how to play after a few tries when you develop strategies for quick navigation and getting from one place to the next in an economical manner. The clock is not your friend here!
But remember that this is a game for you to enjoy. We found this to be highly engaging and something that you should definitely look into when you have a chance. There’s a lot here which is impressive and highly engaging and you can begin to understand why Feed The Beast - Egg Hunt is such an enjoyable challenge. This isn’t like conventional Minecraft at all, and it is important to understand that as you attempt to navigate from one place to the next and collect those precious eggs.
