Have you ever heard about Fizz in Stardew Valley? Stardew Valley is home to a huge number of characters, and Fizz is just one such example. However, only being a recent addition to the game in Update 1.6, it’s unsurprising that many people don’t know much about this unique character. In line with this thought, today, we’re taking a deep dive into Stardew Valley’s newest resident, Fizz, to help you understand more about who he is, what he offers, and in which locations he can be found.
Who is Stardew Valley’s Fizz?
Before we go any further, we first need to consider who Fizz actually is. Indeed, many people won’t have ever met Fizz in Stardew Valley, given he only came into the game in 2024. In line with this thought, unless you happen to have been looking for him and have already progressed far enough in the game to have unlocked Ginger Island, you may be left wondering still.
So, who is Fizz in Stardew Valley? Well, not much is known about Fizz, as he’s a pretty mysterious and secretive character - not the sort of person you can just have a chit-chat with. However, the main thing we know about him is that he works for JoJa Corporation. More specifically, Fizz is a member of the “Joja Special Services Division” - and that sounds about as dishonest as anything in the game. While Fizz might not be the most honest and upstanding character in Stardew Valley, the good news is, one thing you won’t need to leave to chance with an unreliable solution is your Stardew Valley server. Indeed, with Scala Cube’s premium Stardew servers, you can count on 24/7 uptime and reliable solutions that won’t leave your game
What Are Fizz’s Locations in Stardew Valley?
Fizz in Stardew Valley can only be found in one location, so if you want to trade with him, you’ll need to go find him yourself. However, this is only possible after you have first interacted with the Perfection Tracker in Qi’s Walnut Room.
Once you have interacted with the Perfection Tracker for the first time, you should receive a letter from Fizz the following day. He’s obviously taken an interest in your activities, as he will invite you to meet him in the “Watery Cave.” This spawns him into your Stardew world; he won’t show before this point. As such, if you head to the “Watery Cave” in Stardew Valley before checking the Perfection Tracker, you won’t find Fizz there.
Where is the Watery Cave?
The Watery Cave, as Fizz refers to it, is actually the Mushroom Cave on Ginger Island. The Mushroom Cave is located north of the dig site. This cave is initially blocked by a boulder, but this can be blown up with any kind of bomb; doing so will release Professor Snail, and Fizz will take up base in the cave once he is unlocked.
What Does Fizz Offer in Stardew Valley?
Fizz, by his own admission, offers a service that is “legally complex.” As a result, it’s entirely possible that the game devs consider his service to be something of a cheat or easy way out for players who don’t want to go through the rigmarole of trying to complete the perfection goal.
Simply put, Fizz’s service includes selling so-called “Perfection Waivers,” which grant 1% progress towards Perfection in Stardew Valley. Of course, achieving perfection in Stardew Valley is an incredibly significant challenge; as such, if you’ve been struggling with those last few goals in particular, buying perfection waivers may be better.
How Much Do Perfection Waivers Cost?
Perfection waivers in Stardew Valley, sold by Fizz in the Watery Cave, cost 500,000g each. Given that they only contribute 1% towards Perfection, this can seem incredibly expensive; however, there are a few scenarios in which this could be useful, such as when you have completed all of the perfection goals bar building the obelisks and golden clock.
If these buildings are not useful for your play style, you could actually save a significant amount of money by simply completing this progress section by buying Perfection Waivers instead (costing seven million g instead of the thirteen million g needed to construct the buildings).
Can I Become Friends with Fizz in Stardew Valley?
Given his purely professional role in the game, it’s perhaps not surprising that Fizz can’t be made friends with in Stardew Valley. In line with this thought, you also can’t give Fizz any gifts in the game, and if you try to, he won’t accept anything from you. The only thing that Fizz is interested in from the player is selling perfection waivers, so if you’re not there to pay, he won’t have anything else to say.

Final Thoughts
If you have been looking to achieve perfection on your farm, making sure you’ve completed the game is crucial. However, this is - unsurprisingly - a major challenge, which can leave some people wondering if there’s a way to make this goal a little more attainable. Fortunately, if you can find the Stardew Valley character Fizz at his Ginger Island location,
