The Last of Us has been popular on our TV screens, and through the Last of Us game, but as there are many hardcore fans of the game, and more so the storyline, when things don't quite add up in the show, fans often have opinions about the two not making sense. While the TV series has not completely matched the game throughout the whole show, and many agreed with changes the show made to the storyline to add depth, recently, there has been an uproar about a missed beloved scene.
The scene in The Last of Us Part 2 is when Ellie and Dina end up at Eugene’s place after worryingly caught in a snowstorm. This then leads on to the pair solidifying their relationship, in a very calming moment, where they kiss and share some of Eugene's private smoke stash, in an otherwise intense world.
In the show, though, this moment is completely skipped over, and misses a huge part of the two becoming closer, a moment that fans think the show should have included, and were waiting to see on the show. It’s not clear why the HBO show opted out of this scene, as it seems it was popular, but there may be a bigger reason that will come to light in the future, or be revealed by the producers of the show
It’s set to drop on May 25th, so set your calendars!
The show has already been renewed for a third season, so it is more than likely.
