The Path of Exile 2 early access game has faced ever-growing criticism since its release, and it only seems to be getting worse for the team. It looks to be a difficult time for the Path of Exile devs, creating updates that the community is not taking well, and pushing players away from the game.
Path of Exile 2’s main competitor is Eleventh Hour Games’s Last Epoch, and for them, the timing has been perfect. The devs of Last Epoch helped some content to be released due to the overshadowing it could receive from the similar Path of Exile title, but instead, it has picked up all of the frustrated fans of Path of Exile, and set them on a new path within their game.
This has launched the Last Enoch into the top 10 most-played games on Steam! From a few thousand concurrent players to over 100,000 concurrent players. This is due to a great dev team behind the game, and also from disappointment in the community that avidly follows the Path of Exile games.
Generally, the overall Path of Exile Review is continuing to decline, hopefully, there will be some big changes and new content to bring life back to a sadly bad start to a game.
